What's the Future of The Copywriter? ChatGPT Responds.
To be or not to be - that’s the AI question.
Our world continues to be remarkably transformed by these creatures known as “bots”.
But what actually is a bot?
According to Amazon, a bot is an automated software application that performs repetitive tasks over a network. It follows specific instructions to imitate human behaviour but is faster and more accurate.
A bot can also run independently without human intervention, and there are different types. The most talked about currently are chatbots.
Of course, not all bots are helpful and can also imitate malicious human behaviour.
The celebrity of the chatbot world?
With the buzz around the capabilities of ChatGPT, this natural language processor has reached celebrity status.
“At one recent gathering, ChatGPT was the life of the party…..as guests mingled and chatted, ChatGPT joined in the conversation, offering up clever jokes and one-liners that had everyone in stitches.” writes The Atlantic.
Yet despite the buzz, there’s also an undercurrent of concern from a moral and professional perspective about its use.

In particular the glaring question - to what degree will it make writers obsolete?
